$145.00
Seats Available: 10
Class Details
School might be closed, but the bakery is open for a full day of Buffalo-inspired baking fun!
During this six-hour drop-off baking day, young bakers will transform some of Buffalo’s most famous foods into adorable desserts. Children will learn real kitchen skills as they measure, mix, roll, cut, bake and decorate their own creations.
ON THE MENU:
Pizza Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake
The kids will work in small teams to prepare chocolate chip cookie dough from scratch. Each baker will shape and bake an individual cookie cake, then decorate it to look like a Buffalo-style pizza using buttercream and candy decorations.
Buffalo Wing Sugar Cookies
We’ll roll and cut sugar cookie dough before baking a Buffalo-inspired cookie set. After the cookies have cooled, children will learn royal-icing techniques as they decorate cookies shaped like children wings, celery and blue cheese.
Beef on Weck Cupcakes
Each child will decorate cupcakes inspired by another one of one Buffalo’s most famous foods, beef on weck! They will use different colors of buttercream and piping bags to achieve their desired look!
Throughout the day:
We’ll enjoy baking games, kitchen challenges and breaks while our desserts bake and cool.
