This ‘Kids Dessert Decorating Camp” is a 4-day decorating program, specifically for kids ages 8 – 12 years old. It will take place over the course of FOUR days this Summer. This particular listing is for August 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th taking place from 10am-2pm each day. Please bring a lunch for your child to each to each day (no worries, we’ll take care of a dessert for them!). Dress them comfortable, in sneakers, and bring a water bottle.
Cost: $406.25 per child (EARLY BIRD PRICING $370 until February 28th)

Introduction to the Kitchen, Learn about keeping a tidy, sanitized work space
Short Lesson: Royal Icing 101 (kid-friendly version)
Practice Flooding & Polka Dots on templates
Make Your Own Sprinkles!
Decorate Sugar Cookies: Themes like summer, “sweet shop”, or animals
Cookie Art Show + photo booth for fun shots
If time permits: make your own chocolate chip cookie sandwiches!
Day 2: Cake Pop Decorating Fun
Learn How to Make Their Own Cake Pop Dough, Melt Candy Wafers for Decorating, and how to Decorate Simple Cake Pops
Explore more themed designs, practice making additional designs, then sketch an original idea
Make Their Own Cake Pop Design
Cake Pop Showcase: Name their design, description, and discuss with others the techniques they used
If time permits: dip and decorate additional desserts like pretzals, rice krispy treats and oreos!
Day 3: Mini Buttercream Cake Magic
Build a Mini Cake: Pre-baked layers, kids stack & crumb coat
Learn Simple Techniques: Spatula smoothing, sprinkles sides, easy piping borders
Decorate Thier Own Cake: Unicorns, rainbow, monsters, flowers – whatever inspires!
Create a Cake Name & Description Card
Sketch Their Dream Dessert for Day 4!
If time permits: decorate cupcakes with buttercream in an animal theme!
Day 4: Freestyle Day and Family Attends
Create it! Their time to shine! Use their techniques and skills from the week, to create a final product
Decorating Time of 3 hours & Final Touches
Create Name Card and Description
Dessert Showcase Party: Parents to join us at 1:30pm the last day for final dessert presentations!
We did this camp for the first time last summer and it was incredible! The kids did phenomenal and I can’t wait to invite them into the kitchen again this year for more creative & delicious fun!
