Class Details

Join us this summer for our first kids decorating camp! This camp is geared towards kids ages 8 – 12 years old that love to bake and decorate.

This is a 4-day camp with classes happening:

  • Monday, July 14th 10am – 2pm
  • Tuesday, July 15th 10am – 2pm
  • Wednesday, July 16th 10am – 2pm
  • Thursday, July 17th 10am – 2pm

*Each day bring a drink and lunch. Wear sneakers and clothes you don’t mind getting messy in!

The focus of this camp is to teach confidence-building and learning the basics of dessert decorating in a playful, supportive & fun way.

Day 1: Welcome & Cake Pop Decorating Fun

  • Welcome & Apron Decorating
  • Introduction to the Kitchen, Learn about keeping a tidy, sanitized work space
  • Learn How to Make Their Own Cake Pop Dough, Melt Candy Wafers for Decorating, and how to Decorate Simple Cake Pops
  • Explore more themed designs, practice making additional designs, then sketch an original idea
  • Make Their Own Cake Pop Design
  • Cake Pop Showcase: Name their design, description, and discuss with others the techniques they used

Day 2: Cookie Decorating Day

  • Short Lesson: Royal Icing 101 (kid-friendly version)
  • Practice Flooding & Polka Dots on templates
  • Decorate Sugar Cookies: Themes like summer, “sweet shop”, or animals
  • Cookie Art Show + photo booth for fun shots

Day 3: Mini Cakes & Buttercream Magic

  • Build a Mini Cake: Pre-baked layers, kids stack & crumb coat
  • Learn Simple Techniques: Spatula smoothing, sprinkles sides, easy piping borders
  • Decorate Thier Own Cake: Unicorns, rainbow, monsters, flowers – whatever inspires!
  • Create a Cake Name & Description Card.
  • Sketch Their Dream Dessert for Day 4!

Day 4: Freestyle Day and Family Attends

  • Create it! Their time to shine! Use their techniques and skills from the week, to create a final product
  • Decorating Time & Final Touches
  • Create Name Card and Description
  • Dessert Showcase Party: Invite your parents for the last 30 mins

Cancellation Policy

If a class is canceled by us due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future class of your choice. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

If You Cancel Your Enrollment :

  • 1 week before the class - You may request a full refund or transfer your registration to another available class.
  • 4-6 days before the class - You have the option to have your class registration switched to another decorating class within 2 months of the class date.
  • Less than 72 hours - We are unable to offer refunds or reschedules due to preparation and ingredient costs. No-Shows – No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.
